Customer Policy

Privacy Policy

Redmond Ordnance LLC collects the minimum needed to take your order, ship it legally, and support it afterward. We do not sell your personal information.

Who This Covers

This policy describes how Redmond Ordnance LLC(“Redmond Ordnance,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through redmondordnance.com, our checkout, and our customer support email. It applies to visitors, customers, and newsletter subscribers.

What We Collect

Information you give us.

  • Name, email address, and phone number.
  • Shipping and billing addresses.
  • Order contents, order history, and any notes you send us about an order.
  • Your certification, made by placing an order, that you meet the legal age and eligibility requirements to buy ammunition.
  • Messages you send to support, including photos attached to a return or damage claim.

Payment information. Card details are submitted to our payment processor and handled by them. We do not store full card numbers or security codes on our servers — we retain only the transaction reference and the last digits needed to identify a payment for refunds and disputes.

Age gate. When you confirm you are old enough to enter the site, we store that confirmation in your browser so you are not asked again on every page. It contains no personal information.

Information collected automatically.

  • IP address, browser and device type, and referring page.
  • Pages viewed, products viewed, and actions taken on the site.
  • Cookies and browser storage used to keep your cart intact between pages and to keep you signed in if you have an account.

How We Use It

  • Take, process, and fulfill your order, and send order and shipping notifications.
  • Calculate sales tax and shipping for your address.
  • Verify age and shipping eligibility, and comply with federal, state, and local law governing ammunition sales.
  • Handle returns, refunds, warranty examinations, and support requests.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, chargeback abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Send marketing email only if you subscribed — every message has an unsubscribe link.
  • Understand aggregate site traffic so we can improve the catalog and checkout.
  • Keep the business and transaction records the law requires us to keep.

Who We Share It With

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the store, and only with what they need:

  • Our payment processor, to authorize and settle your payment and to process refunds.
  • Shipping carriers, to deliver your order and collect the required adult signature.
  • Our email provider, to send order confirmations, shipping notices, and newsletters you opted into.
  • Our hosting and database providers, which store order and account data on our behalf.
  • Analytics providers, which receive site usage data as described below.
  • Professional advisors, and law enforcement or regulators when we are legally required to respond or need to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not disclose your purchase history to third parties except as described above or as required by law.

If the business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the acquiring party, which would remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.

Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and browser storage to keep your shopping cart working and to keep account sessions signed in. These are necessary for the store to function.

We also use Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic — which pages and products are viewed, and how visitors move through checkout. Google receives your IP address and usage data under its own privacy terms. You can opt out site-wide with Google’s browser add-on, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, though blocking them may break the cart.

How Long We Keep It

Order and transaction records are retained as long as required for tax, accounting, and regulatory recordkeeping. Support correspondence is kept while it is useful for servicing your orders. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained on the schedule set in our analytics account.

Security

The site is served over TLS, payment data is handled by our processor rather than stored by us, and access to customer records is limited to staff accounts that need it. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account or order has been compromised, email us immediately.

Your Choices & Rights

  • Unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any newsletter. Transactional order emails cannot be opted out of while an order is open.
  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your information — we honor this except where we are legally required to retain transaction records.
  • Depending on your state, you may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, or limit the use of your information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them.

To make a request, email support@redmondordnance.com. We may need to verify your identity against your order history before acting on it.

Children

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Visitors must confirm they are at least 18 to enter the store. Purchasing ammunition requires you to be at least 18 for rifle and shotgun ammunition and at least 21 for handgun ammunition under federal law, and older where your state requires it.

Changes & Contact

We will update this policy as the business changes and will revise the “last updated” date above when we do. Material changes will be noted on this page.
